Delayed obedience = disobedience

Hebrews 11:6 states, “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” We all are human and make mistakes. Yet, the Lord still chooses to couple with His imperfect creation, none-the-less. So, let us tear down the spirit of perfectionism and trust the Lord to walk us into the unknown.

The enemy would like nothing more than to keep you down and to drive you as far away from using your God-given giftings. Why? Because he knows that when you are walking in your giftings, you start to come to life; full of zeal and passion!

Here is a loving word for some of you in this situation: “Delayed obedience = disobedience!”

If God had intended for you to start at a later time, He would have stirred your spirit at a later time. But He didn’t. He stirred your spirit to get you moving in that direction, NOW!

  2. Tia,

This post (along with the full article) have been so encouraging to me.

I keep thinking about this part:

The enemy would like nothing more than to keep you down and to drive you as far away from using your God-given giftings. Why? Because he knows that when you are walking in your giftings, you start to come to life; full of zeal and passion!

Oh, I want us here on Daring Daughters to inspire and encourage women and girls to “come to life” (as you put it), full of zeal and passion!

    Amen!!!
